We've been doing skids since thumb shifters changed gears, since V-brakes stopped bikes and suspension was nowhere near a bicycle. We've also built trail for 30+ years and have done our share of racing (often badly). We do it, we get it and we love it.

We make it all here too! Our mudguards and retail header cards are made in Australia, printed in Australia and — with the exception of a couple of designs by invited international artists — are also designed in Australia.

The environment is important to us and we see it as our obligation to factor it into our everyday thinking. This commitment is reflected in the design and manufacture of our products and packaging to ensure we maintain a high level of environmental responsibility.PRODUCT: Dirtsurfer mudguards are made using the world’s first 100% carbon neutral polypropylene sheet. 100% Australian made, this product is safe, non toxic and has been specially formulated for optimum performance across environmental, functional and aesthetic benchmarks. Dirtsurfer mudguards comprise 50% recycled and 50% virgin content and are 100% recyclable.PACKAGING: We're very particular about packaging too — in fact we prefer absolutely none where we can. We recognise however that it serves an important purpose, so we made sure our packaging was well designed, minimal in nature, used only materials sourced from purpose-grown plantation forests, had a life beyond the hook and was also 100% recyclable. The print company we use is certified Level 2 Sustainable Green Print (SGP) and have well structured procedures for smart waste management, recycling and print processes, designed to minimise their impact on the environment. This is just one of the reasons we like them.
