Item Ordered by Mistake

If you accidentally ordered the wrong product during your visit to our webstore, please email us at fablabaustralia3d@gmail.com as soon as possible.

While there is no guarantee we can correct the error before shipping, we will do our best to make the change before it ships. If your order hasn’t been packed or collected by Australia Post, we will make every effort to get it sorted for you. If your order has already shipped or has been received, the Returns and Refunds policy below applies.

Defective, Damaged or Incorrect.

Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us within 24 hours to notify us if an item is defective, damaged or if indeed we messed up and sent the wrong item. If it is determined that we have sent the wrong item or it is defective, we will work swiftly to rectify the error at our cost.

Returns and Refunds

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

Change of Mind Returns & Incorrectly Ordered Items

To request a Return:

  1. In the first instance email fablabaustralia3d@gmail.com
  2. Include your order number
  3. Attach a photo of the item in unused, original condition
  4. Outline your reason for requesting a return of the item/s

If your return is accepted, you are required to pay return shipping, and we will provide you with instructions on where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Return requests must be made within 30 days of delivery.
  • The item(s) must be unused, undamaged and in its original packaging
  • We do not accept return requests after 30 days of you receiving of your order.

Please Note:

  • You are responsible for return shipping charges.
  • FAB LAB Australia are not responsible for any items lost or damaged during return shipping.
  • There are no refunds for the original shipping charges.
  • If the item is returned damaged or used, no refund will be issued

Refunds

Once an item has been returned, it will be inspected. Following inspection and confirmed as suitable as a return, a refund, store credit or exchange may be issued (as per discussion with you).

If a refund has been agreed to, this will only be made once the products have been received back, inspected and approved.

Refunds are generally made within 5 business days. Please note, it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and assign the refund to you.

About 3D Printing
Due to the nature of 3D print manufacturing, some items may display small imperfections to the finished product. Such surface imperfections will not impact the functionality or performance of the product so please don't mistake a surface imperfection as a failed or flawed product. It is the nature of the print process.
